My role
As the graphic designer at Curbfood I produced branding material, mostly digital, photos, website and packaging. Made sure everything followed brand guidelines. I worked in a small team with a brand manager and a social media manager. We worked with a small budget and a do it yourself mentality.
The website
An early task was to update their old website. I designed a straight forward one page website with support and feedback from the Head of Product designer. I also made the illustrations of the red hand.
New photo guidelines
The imagery was, of course, an important part of presenting food on their sales channel, the delivery apps. I had a central role in updating the photo guidelines, choosing colors, compositing, and styling. The goal was to make Curbfood recognizable among the cover images of other restaurants and to make the food look mouth-wateringly good.

Process
Examples of before and after retouching:
I had almost no experience of food styling/photography and when I started. But in some months I really developed this skill. Below is one example of an early image that I later made an updated version of.

Delivery apps
I adjusted all the photos to fit the different ratios required by each delivery app and ensured that no important elements were obscured by tags or graphic elements.
